Lime Connect offers two AI solutions that help automate customer conversations and optimize workflows: Connect AI and the AI Automation Hub. Both are low-code or no-code platforms designed to make AI accessible and practical for customer communication.
Connect AI is our new, proprietary AI platform (currently in beta-state), developed fully in-house and built directly into Lime Connect. It enables intelligent, automated conversations across all communication channels, with AI Copilot support for human operators, system actions, AI summaries, and easy connections to external data sources through our MCP server. Because it’s integrated into Lime Connect, it offers a seamless setup and faster evolution based on customer feedback.
AI Automation Hub, launched in 2022, is a solution offered and developed together with a partner, that can be connected to Lime Connect. It also enables AI-powered conversation automation and workflow optimization, with unique modules like Smart FAQ and Form Suggest, helping businesses improve website interactions and lead collection.
Why We Built Connect AI
We saw the need for an AI solution that integrates even deeper into Lime Connect and makes it easier to connect external systems and data sources. Building our own solution allows us to:
- React faster to customer feedback and new technology
- Ensure a unified experience across all channels
- Extend AI capabilities with features like AI Copilot and system actions
Which solution is right for you depends on your requirements.

* Level of Agency refers to how much autonomy and decision-making capability an AI chatbot has during conversations.
- A fully agentic chatbot can independently decide which knowledge sources to consider, which actions to take, when to escalate to humans, and how to solve problems by combining multiple tools and knowledge sources.
- A partially agentic chatbot has more limited decision-making capabilities and typically follows more predefined rules or requires more explicit triggers to take action.
