If you have connected WhatsApp to Lime Connect directly through Meta rather than via 360dialog, please follow this process:
Open the WhatsApp Manager > Account Tools > Phone numbers > and click on your business phone number
Select the Profile tab > Official Business Account
- If the Submit request button is available in your WhatsApp Manager, you can proceed with submitting your OBA request.
- If the Submit request button is not visible, OBA applications cannot currently be submitted.
Click on Submit request and complete the form.
- You can submit up to five supporting links, preferably from reputable publications, to demonstrate your company's notability. These links help with the assessment during the review process.
- Additional information such as countries of operation, parent company or brand (especially if it's a well-known brand), and the main language help Meta better understand your brand and assess OBA eligibility.
The review process is conducted by Meta's Trust & Safety Team and can take up to 7 days.
